SYNOPSIS
As the director of her father’s advertising company, Ma Yoo Hee (Han Ga In) is known as a witch for her ruthless, no nonsense character. After a string of failed attempts to hire a housekeeper, she (literally) runs into Chae Moo Ryong (Jae Hee), ex-medical student turned aspiring chef. As a way to work off his debt for crashing into her car, he agrees to become her housekeeper and personal love affairs coach for one month. Gladly, he gives her a makeover that attracts both her old friend Johnny Kruger (Dennis Oh) and her first love Joon Ha (Kim Jeong Hoon). Despite having a girlfriend, Sung Mi (Jun Hye Bin), Moo Ryong eventually finds himself falling for Yoo Hee.

Synopsis:

SYNOPSIS:
In the movie, Joon-soo is a tough 19 year old high school kid that loves to cause trouble. He often gets in fights, once with 17 other guys, but always comes out as the victor. Then one day Joon-soo’s parents decides to go out of town. Joon-soo decides then and there to throw a party at his parent’s home. He then goes shopping for groceries and comes upon an unexpected surprise. A little toddler sits in a shopping basket wearing the name tag “Han Wooram” and points to Joon-soo as his father!

He then takes the baby home and tries to find the baby’s real parents. When he can’t find the parents, Joon-soo even tries to abandon the baby but always fails. He then takes the kid to school which causes further scandal and a suspension. But during this time an unexpected event occurs between Joon-soo and Woo-ram…

Age of Water and Wood

I found them completely by accident, but from the first listen they have jumped up near the top (if not the top) of my favorite Chinese musicians. They aren’t the absolute best of singers, and their English really is atrocious, but the sound they create is gorgeous and haunting and just flat out amazing. Each song in their most recent two albums can pretty much stand alone as complete singles, and I can imagine them as theme songs to beautiful cinematography. (I don’t actually recommend watching their MVs, since they are also to be desired–fake CG effects and all.)

Both the band members, Lu Gengxu and Miao Jie, are graduates of China’s top university, Tsing Hua. Despite their non-musical education, Age of Water and Wood (水木年华) has managed to garner thousands of fans as well as numerous music awards with their harmonious duets, fluent melodies and sentimental memories of campus (their 2004 album, Autograph Book of Graduation).

As the members’ college years are long behind them, the duo has outgrown its original sound. With their two most recent albums, Shui Mu Nian Hua has succeeded in forging a new style – a dramatic, elegant rock sound – without losing their original appeal.

Dual Fantasy on an emotional theme.

“Personally, I have to say this album is collection of some moody songs. You know, as we grow older, we’ve got to know more about life. What is different is I record my feelings in musical form. Now is the time when I recollect all my emotional moments and it is the album, Dual Fantasy.”

Short Biography: A-lan was enrolled in one of the most prestigious music school in China, the China National Chinese Opera and Dance Drama Company (解放軍芸術学院) and in 2005, Alan released a cover album, Sheng Sheng Zui Ru Lan, under a Chinese Indie label. In October 2006 at the Shanghai International Art Festival, Alan won second place at the 9th Asia New Singer Competition. Alan was scouted when Avex China held auditions in Beijing. She went on to debut with a Japanese language single in November 2007, Ashita e no Sanka. She is currently still studying Japanese, and only has a basic grasp of the language.
